Earlier this week, Lieutenant Dan Patrick issued a press release containing the text of his letter to TRC Chairman Robert Schmidt, encouraging him to hold another vote on rules regulating pari-mutuel wagering on historical racing at their next meeting and to repeal those rules.

TTA executive director Mary Ruyle sent a response to Lt. Governor Patrick, with copies to each of the Commissioners, Governor Greg Abbott and Speaker of the House Joe Straus.  The response may be viewed here.
