As part of a $25 million infusion into the Texas horse industry thanks to recently passed legislation, the Texas Thoroughbred Association has launched the ATB Breeder Bonus program.

In addition to record purse levels with maiden special weight and allowance races in excess of $40,000 at Lone Star Park and in excess of $35,000 at Sam Houston Race Park, a Breeder Bonus of up to 35% of purse money earned is paid out for Accredited Texas-breds in open company races at Texas tracks!
ALL Accredited Texas-breds are eligible to earn regular ATB Breeder Awards, and those running against open company can also earn the ATB Breeder Bonus.
An Accredited Texas-bred winning a $36,000 maiden race against open company at Sam Houston, earns $21,300 and the winning breeder
earns an award of up to $7,500 on top of the regular ATB Breeder Award!
Also Accredited Texas-breds are now earning earning Breeder Awards in out-of-state races when there is no live racing in Texas!
