Please follow the link to review and comment on proposed Texas Racing Commission rule amendments/changes. These rules will affect all horsemen. Of particular concern is Sec. 311.2. Application Procedure. This proposed rule change will require that all applications for a TxRc license must be submitted at least 31 days prior to the license being issued. Emergency/temporary licenses will be eliminated and in order for a person to receive a license, they must submit their application 31 days in advance of needing the license.
