A sample letter is below:

Dear Representative _______,

As a Texan involved in the state’s horse industry, I am asking for your support of HB 3926 and with it, the opportunity to support three very important things in our state without raising taxes or expanding the footprint of gambling.
HB 3926 will:
* Provide all Peace Officers with the modern body armor they need and increase death benefits the families of fallen officers deserve;
* Create revenue for a host of charities supporting everything from Veterans and firefighters to children
* Raise purses for Texas racing and help keep Texas horse breeders in our state

I ask that you please make every effort to ensure the successful passage of this legislation. Constituents like me, our first responders, Texas charities, and the Texas horse industry greatly appreciate it.

Respectfully,
