She’s Our Fastest
(Oratory – Dawali) will compete in a field of 7 for tonight’s $50,000 Jack
Bishop Stakes for fillies and mares, 3-years-old and up going a mile and a
sixteenth at Prairie Meadows. Bred by
Eureka Thoroughbred Farm, she is trained by Scott Gelner for Mark Norman and
Norman Stables LLC (Robert A. Norman).
Shes Our Fastest won the $50,000 Yellow Rose Stakes at Houston in March and finished second in the $50,000 Bluebonnet Stakes at Lone Star on April 18th. She has odds of 6 – 1.
On Monday, Mindy Willis will saddle Texas Belle (Angliana – Inthemiddleofitall) to take on 8 competitors in the one-mile $100,000 Lone Star Park Turf Stakes. Also bred by Eureka Thoroughbred Farm, she is owned by Richard Chandler. She won her last out in the $50,000 San Jacinto Stakes at Houston on March 23rd and has odds of 15 – 1.
JOCKEYS & JAVA AT LONE STAR PARK
Make plans to attend Jockeys & Java before the races at Lone Star Park on
Monday, May 27. Enjoy a complimentary breakfast while you watch the horses
during their morning training. Then listen to track announcer Jim Byers
interview jockeys Lane Luzzi and Sasha Risenhoover. After that take an in-depth
tour of the barn and stable area. Enter through the Courtyard of
Champions gates located on the West side of the Grandstand. Gates for
this special event open at 8:30 a.m. and the interviews will start at
approximately 9 a.m.

HB 1995 (TRC Funding) has been signed by the Governor.
HB 3366 (Removing ATB Funds from TRC Budget) is awaiting Governor’s signature.
HB 2463 (Purse Bill) is now on the way to the Governor’s desk!
June 16 is the last day the Governor can sign or veto bills passed during this regular session.
