ACTION ALERT: PLEASE WRITE THESE LEGISLATORS IN SUPPORT OF BILLS BENEFICIAL TO THE TEXAS RACING INDUSTRY
Earlier in March, we reported that five bills were filed with the Texas Legislature that could benefit the Texas racing and breeding industry. We asked you to contact the legislators who authored those bills expressing your appreciation for their support of our industry. We thank all of you who took the time to make contact with Sen. Kolkhorst, Sen. Buckingham, and Rep. Kuempel. If you have not yet contacted them, please do so now.

You can read more about the individual bills and the process required for each of them to pass at texasthoroughbred.com.

It is extremely important to let Senators Buckingham and Kolkhorst and Representative Kuempel know how much we appreciate their support of a better future for the Texas racing and breeding industry. Please take just a few minutes to write and send your letters today.

Thank you for taking action and we will continue to keep you informed about the progress of the bills.

WALK OF FAME
The Texas Horse Racing Hall of Fame would like to extend a chance to commemorate past and present stakes race winners in Texas. We’re kicking off a paver stone project we’ve dubbed “The Walk of Fame” to honor past and present stakes race winners that are owned, bred, raced, or standing in Texas. Owners and trainers can put their name on a piece of real estate at Retama Park Race Track in Selma, Texas and become a living part of the rich history of horse racing in Texas.
