On Saturday, 12/1 Runaway Dreamer (KY) runs in the $100,000 Ginger Brew Stakes at Gulfstream for owner/breeder Craig B. Singer.

On Saturday in the $65,000 Bold Ego Handicap at Sunland Park, Tom Durant bred and owns 3/1 favorite Cashcheckorcharge (KY) and Brad King co-owns 4/1 Into Mystic (KY).

On Sunday, in the $100,000 Four Rivers John Deere Stakes, Sam E. and Sammy L. Stevens bred and own 15/1 Jim Edd Who (NM), and J. Kirk and Judy Robison bred and own 12/1 Road to Heat (NM).

January 15^th: Consignment Deadline for Texas Two-Year-Old and Horses of Racing Age Sale

January 21^st: Texas Racing Commission meets in Austin

January 26^th: Houston Racing Festival

February 1^st: Deadline for payment of (optional) annual administrative fees for stallions for the 2020 breeding season.  Payment of this $200 fee entitles stallion owners to receive ATB stallion owner awards for foals conceived this year.

February 15^th: Deadline for first sustaining payment of $250 for the Texas Thoroughbred Futurity.

February 15^th: Deadline for receipt of TTEF scholarship applications for the 2020-2021 school year. 

February 22^nd: Texas Champions Preview

March 21^st: Texas Champions Day & TTA Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner at Sam Houston Race Park

April 1^st: Breeze show for Texas Two-Year-Old and Horses of Racing Age Sale

April 3rd: Texas Two-Year-Old and Horses of Racing Age Sale at Lone Star Park

April 15^th: Deadline for second sustaining payment of $350 for the Texas Thoroughbred Futurity.

May 1^st: Deadline for $5,000 supplemental entries to the Texas Thoroughbred Futurity. Only for Sales graduates not previously nominated.
