Bred by Tom Durant, stakes placed Miss Perfecta (Run Away and Hide – Perfect Meadow) runs for owner Randy Patterson.  She was third in the $50,000 E. L. Gaylord Memorial Stakes on September 30th and was also third in her most recent out on November 20th here.  Trained by Randy Morse, she has odds of 9-2.

The 7-2 favorite in the race is Kentucky-bred Cowgirls Like Us (My Golden Song – Nothinbettertodo), a homebred for Douglas Scharbauer.  The multiple stakes winner was RNA’d in the Texas 2-Year-Old Sale and went on to win the Darby’s Daughter division of the Clarence Scharbauer Jr. Texas Stallion Stakes on August 15th and the $75,000 La Senorita Stakes on September 4th at Retama Park.
