ATB’S IN UPCOMING STAKES
Bubba Bling (Too Much Bling – My Silver Song) is the 6-5 favorite in a field of 7 for the $50,000 Manzano Stakes for 2-year-olds going 6 furlongs at Albuquerque on Saturday. Bred by James Wessel, the colt is trained by Steve Asmussen for owner Darren Fleming.  This is only the third out for Bubba Bling, who finished second in the $65,000 Prairie Gold Juvenile Stakes at Prairie Meadows on July 26th.

Twirling Around (Twirling Candy – Clara Kelly) is in a field of 7 for the $75,000 La Senorita Stakes for 2-year-old fillies going a mile on the turf at Retama Park on Wednesday, August 14th. Bred by Eric and Randi Moreau-Sipiere, she was purchased by Keene Thoroughbreds LLC from the consignment of Twin Oaks Training Center at the Texas 2-Year-Old Sale.  Trained by J. R. Caldwell, she won her last out by 1 ¼ lengths at Lone Star on July 20th and has odds of 4-1.

Danny Pish will send out Flash Time (Flashback – Trinity Bluffs), a homebred for Hall’s Family Trust in the $75,000 El Joven Stakes for 2-year-olds going a mile on the turf at Retama Park. The colt won a maiden special weight on Lone Star on July 18th and has odds of 7-2.

Also in the field of 10 is 15-1 Darylslittlediablo (Congaree – Catarina Ranch), bred by the late Ed Few.  Darrell Bravenec purchased the gelding out of the Benchmark Training Center consignment in the 2018 Texas Yearling and Mixed Sale.  Jaime Castellanos is the trainer.

J. R. Caldwell will saddle 10-1 T C’s Image (Grasshopper – Sister Sandra), a homebred for Keene Thoroughbreds LLC.  The colt is coming off a win on July 19th at Lone Star.

THE JOCKEY CLUB ROUND TABLE CONFERENCE
The Jockey Club will provide a live video stream for the Aug. 11 67th Annual Round Table Conference on Matters Pertaining to Racing from Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on jockeyclub.com. The two-hour conference begins at 10 a.m. EDT.

In addition to the live stream on The Jockey Club’s website, the event can be viewed on TVG2 and tvg.com. Updates from the conference will be tweeted from @jockeyclub using #tjcroundtable.

A video replay of the Round Table Conference will be available later Sunday afternoon, and an official transcript of the proceedings will be available on The Jockey Club website the week following the conference.
