ACCREDITED TEXAS-BREDS IN UPCOMING STAKES
Stakes-placed Hulen (Tapiture – Clamorous Clarissa) is in a field of 7 colts and geldings going 6 furlongs in Saturday’s $50,000 Prairie Gold Juvenile Stakes at Prairie Meadows.  Bred by Keith Asmussen and trained by Steve Asmussen, he is owned by a partnership including Bill and Corinne Heiligbrodt.  He finished third in the colt/gelding division of the $113,000 Texas Thoroughbred Futurity at Lone Star Park on August 11th and has odds of 3/1.

TEXAS SUMMER YEARLING AND HORA SALE SLATED FOR MONDAY, AUGUST 24
We’ve added dozens of new photos and videos of horses in the August 24 Texas Summer Yearling and Horses of Racing Age Sale at Lone Star Park. The interactive catalog may be viewed at www.ttasales.com.

If you plan to attend the upcoming Sale at Lone Star Park, please note that safety precautions require wearing a mask, having your temperature taken prior to admittance and observing social distancing.

We plan to have barbecue available on Sunday from Vaquero’s Barbecue and Lone Star Park will provide breakfast and lunch items (in individually wrapped portions) on Monday.  The bar will also be open.

Prospective buyers also have the option to bid online from anywhere. Online bidders MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE, so if you are interested, please go to www.ttasales.com for instructions.

TTA office staff will be attending the Sale next Monday and Tuesday, August 24 and 25th. TEXAS WINTER MIXED SALE
We are pleased to announce the return of the Texas Winter Mixed Sale on December 6, 2020 at Lone Star! Consignment contracts will be available at the Texas Summer Yearling and HORA Sale, and are now available at www.ttasales.com, The entry deadline is October 2.

NOTES: Our sympathy goes out to the family of longtime TTA member and local horsewoman, Darlene Lind of Manor, Texas, who passed away recently.
