The Paddock Foundation 2012 Sponsorship

2012 Sponsorship

The Texas Thoroughbred Association’s Paddock Foundation, founded to help transition former Thoroughbred racehorses into new careers, made its initial commitment as sponsor of the Texas Thoroughbred Jumper Challenge, two jumper divisions restricted to Thoroughbreds at each of five shows in Texas in 2012.

Paddock Foundation President Mike Kindred stated, “The purpose of this ‘Thoroughbred only’ class is to revive interest in the Thoroughbred horse as a show horse prospect and to encourage its use in the hunter and jumper arena.”

The Paddock Foundation is donating $200 per show, or $1,000 for the year, plus a bonus for the Jumper Challenge of either $1,500 for the high point former Texas-bred Thoroughbred racehorse, or $1,000 for the high point Texas-bred Thoroughbred, or $500 for the high point Thoroughbred.
