Jorge Ortega Garcia, 56, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Mr. Ortega Garcia was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for sometime.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Claudio Ortega and Ambrosia Garcia Ortega.
Brothers, Lamberto Ortega and Claudio Ortega.

He is survived by his wife, Macedonia Ortega.
Children, Jorge Ortega, Jr., Maricela (Bernardo) Delgado, Claudio Ortega and Marisa Ortega.
Brothers, Armando Ortega and Aurelio Ortega.
Sisters, Marcelina Ortega, Rosa Maria Ortega and Eulalia Ortega.

Also surviving him are numerous friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Sagrado Corazon De Jesus Church, Penitas West on Las Tiendas Rd. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
