Due to recent changes enacted by the Texas Racing Commission concerning occupational licensing, all horsemen are encouraged to apply for or renew your license as soon as possible, and well in advance of the opening of the Thoroughbred meet at Sam Houston Race Park on January 5th.

ALLOW 21 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE ENTERING A HORSE IN A RACE OR SEEKING ENTRY TO A RESTRICTED AREA OF A RACETRACK

REQUIRED:

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY BACKGROUND CHECK IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO A LICENSE BEING ISSUED BY THE COMMISSION
