Hey Folks,

Yesterday, we told you about 31 yearlings in the Fasig-Tipton Texas Yearling Sale that have already been nominated to the Texas Stallion Stakes Series (TSSS).

There are also ten more yearlings that are eligible to be nominated to the TSSS for $500 by December 31st. Look at these: Hips 7, 8, 16, 21, 46, 48, 90, 112, 114, 129.

Once nominated, the foal is eligible to all stakes in the TSSS for a$500 entry and $1,000 start fee per race. There are no late nominations, supplemental entries or sustaining payments.

The TSSS features three sets of races, each split into two divisions (colts/geldings and fillies) for a purse of $75,000 per division. The schedule kicks off each fall at Retama Park with 2-year-olds going 5 1/2 furlongs. The series moves on to Sam Houston Race Park in the winter with 3-year-olds going 7 furlongs. The series concludes during the spring meet at Lone Star Park with 3-year-olds going 1 mile.
